Undeniably, Scotland's most enduring and groundbreaking underground DJ/Producer, Mallorca Lee has released over seven artist albums and countless singles that have blazed an unmitigated trail thru acid house, rave, hip-hop, rock and pop for almost two decades. The maverick MC / DJ / Producer that some have called a mad man and even NME proclaimed "more rock and roll than Oasis!", hazards a kamikaze, DIY, Punk Rock approach to electronic music production that blows up the boundaries and pick locks the pigeon holes of modern day dance music.
His indispensable Debunk Music imprint harbors some of the worlds best producers of House (Scanners, Steve Lawler, Mike Monday, Deep Groove, D.O.N.S), Trance and Techno (David Forbes, Signalrunners and Mark Sherry) however its Mallorca's energetic mash ups and live performances around the world (his first ever DJ set was at The Ministry Of Sound, London!) that continually remind us how he won his way into our head and hearts, not to mention our record collection, in the first place.
From his humble beginnings in rave producing under the name Ultra-Sonic to global chart success with Public Domain, busting rhymes with rap legends Chuck D and Professor Griff (Public Enemy). His collaborations with German DJs The Warp Brothers, UK DJs Steve Hill, Andy Whitby & Technikal, and not forgetting Mark Sherry, James Allen and David Forbes.
